The other 5 of the 10 trends I will never follow

Ready for more? Here is part 2 of the “Trends I will never follow” blog. Enjoy, and as always, please comment and let me know what trend is a big NO for you.

6. Jumpsuits
I love Jumpsuits! They used to be my favorite thing to wear when I was 10 years old. But they only look good on certain body frame, and I don’t have it.  You have to be really really skinny and tall to rock a Jumpsuit. Otherwise, you’ll be lost inside it.  Same goes for the ones with short pants, I’ve seen people that looks more like wearing a beach towel than a jumpsuit - yeah, why?
7. Neons
A couple of weeks ago, I blogged about the spring 2011 trends, and one of the most noticeable ones was Neons. I don’t think this is necessary a horrible trend, just use with caution. One neon piece/accessory at a time is enough. Otherwise, you run the chance of looking like an 80’s flashback.
8. Lady Gaga’s shoes
I think her sole purpose in life is find ways to get your attention and, let’s face it - her “talent” is the last thing you notice. She always has crazy shoes!  The ones I saw last week had “invisible” heels. Black knee high leather boots with no heel. They looked so uncomfortable. Comfort is not really a priority to me when buying shoes, but that was just too much, even for me.
9. Clogs
What can I say about these so-called shoes? They are horrible! If you have clogs, go to your closet and throw them away right now. This is for your own good. I can only think of feet sweating inside those rubber things. YUCK!
10. Vajazzling
For those of you who don’t know what this is, Vajazzling is the art of applying glitter and jewels to a woman’s nether-regions for aesthetic purposes.  Hmmm..... If you are lucky enough to see my “nether regions”  that should be satisfactory, no jewels needed. Plus, it costs money to apply the jewels, they only lasts a couple of days, and it is recommended to have a brazilian waxing before applying (oh, the pain!).  I prefer to play with other kind of “jewels.”

There you have it - the complete list of Fashion Trends I find unacceptable. I'm sure, as time goes by, we’ll find more and more fashion disasters people wear just to be trendy.  What do you think is the future of fashion? hmmm I think Im going to blog about that.  See you next week!

5 of the 10 trends I will never follow

Here’s a list of fashion “Trends” that I can’t even begin to understand how they became popular, and why people think they are wearable and worth the money. Enjoy!
1. Jeggings
According to Wikipedia, Jeggings are leggings that are made to feel and look like denim.  What?  I think is the same thing as “Pajama Pants.”  If you want to wear skinny jeans, wear skinny jeans, not leggings that look like them.
2. Animal Prints
This one is more of a personal preference to me than anything else.  I just cant see myself wearing these ridiculous prints. Don’t get me wrong, I love fur and I’m all about wearing the real thing. So - if I can wear real fur, why wear animal prints?  The last time I went to Ulta, Sally Hansen had Animal Print stickers for your nails. Yeah, thats ummmmm, interesting!

3. Uggs
More like Ughs! to me. They’ve been around for years, and I have no doubt they probably are super comfortable. I think they you should only wear them inside the house where no one can see you (except your family, of course, but they love you no matter what). I’m sure they keep your feet warm too, but you can do the same with leather boots and comfy socks. I’m still amazed when I see people in Puerto Rico wearing them in 80 degree weather.
4. Spandex
The only people that should wear spandex are cyclists and gymnasts.  Why would you wear a fabric that marks every-single-imperfection your body has?
5. Juicy Couture sweatshirts
I’ve never been a fan of Juicy Couture. To me, the only good thing they have is a great marketing team. Not couture at all. I often see girls wearing sweatshirts and pants all over Ocala. Just because it says Juicy on your butt it doesn’t mean its acceptable to wear outside the house and the gym. Plus, you look like a Real Housewife from Atlanta! Who wants to follow that role model?!?
This are the first 5 horrible trends - Stay tuned for part 2 next week!
